Tom walked into the office while I hesitated at the doorway. I was
pretty sure Rick wouldn’t spank me, as I walked past him, but I
couldn’t help but feel nervous. I couldn’t look at him, as I edged
past, and I turned my butt away from him.
He gave a chuckle as if he knew what I was thinking.
I blushed.
Tom and I remained standing, as Rick went to his desk. He leaned
against it and asked, “Lucy, why are you here?”
My stomach was so nervous I could hardly bear it. “Because I lied.”
