You can find this spanking story, All the Days of Our Lives by saradora at the Library of Spanking Fiction.  This is an M/F spanking story about an engaged couple working out the terms of their domestic discipline relationship.  I can’t say enough about what a beautiful love story this is.

There are no names in this story.  The boyfriend spanks his girlfriend very hard for not taking her medication.  We hear his point of view as he expresses how much he loves her and why he spanks her.  She struggles with being spanked.  She decides to leave him because of the spankings, even though she clearly loves him.

While she is gone, she realizes she can’t live without him.  So, they begin negotiating the terms of their future domestic discipline marriage.  He agrees to some of her conditions for spanking her, but it’s the “love, honor and obey” part of their vows that cause conflict for them.  Can they work out the terms of their relationship and live happily ever after in a loving discipline marriage?

This is the first story I’ve read by saradora, and I definitely plan on reading more.  I love how she expresses the emotions of both of them in this story.  It’s well written and makes me think about how a couple might really discuss discipline during engagement, working out terms they can both accept.  Domestic discipline isn’t always about the man being dominant and setting all the terms.  At its best, it’s a mutual agreement that bonds the two together in an intimate and loving way.

First, let’s review some of the ways you can find spanking stories on the site:

1. Choose from one of the Latest lists on the Home page.
2. Use the Author Drop Down Box.
3. Choose the Latest option from the Main Menu and choose one of the four options.
4. Use the Search feature.
5. See what other members are reading using the Activity feature.
6. Read the Library of Spanking Fiction story reviews (also includes these site tips) here on Spanking Storybook.

Once you get a listing of titles. You will see an icon to the left of the title.  It looks like a document. The document icon looks different depending on whether or not you have read the story before and whether or not it is one of your favorites.  It’s a great feature to help you keep track of stories you’ve already read.

Hover over the document icon and read an excerpt of the story’s synopsis.  Click on the icon, and you can read the full summary. I had no idea this was even there until recently.  It’s a quick way to be sure this is a story that will appeal to you.

Click on the title, and the story appears in a new window.  Notice that you can change the font size using the buttons at the top of the story, as well as the color.  I love that!  Use the button at the bottom of the story to read comments and leave your own comment. If the story is a serial, you’ll have a link at the bottom of the page to continue to the next chapter.

Next to the title the number of words in the story is listed, as well as the date it was added, the type of content (i.e. M/F, F/M), and the number of views the story has received.

Finally, you will see several icons.  The heart-shaped icon allows you to add this story to your favorites.  Just click the heart.  The second icon allows you to view comments or leave your own comment.  Finally, the check mark indicates if the story has been validated or not.

The Library of Spanking Fiction has recently started using more icons to identify stories.  You’ll see icons for the level of sexual content, the age of the spankee, the genders of the spanker and spankee, spanking content, and implements used.  The genders are shown with overlapping icons.  The top icon is the spanker’s gender, and the lower is the spankee’s gender.

You can go directly to an author’s page by using the Select Author option on the Main Menu.  You’ll see stats for that author including how many words they have on the site, how many of their stories are member favorites, the number of comments they’ve received, the last comment date, and total number of views of their stories. If they have one listed, you can also find their webpage link and email address.

Many authors have a brief introduction telling you a bit about them and how they started writing spanking stories. Finally, you’ll find buttons for Stories, Serials, Poems, Other, All and Comments.  Once you select an option for that author’s fiction, you’ll see a list of their titles unless they have a large number of items available.  Then you’ll see an A-Z option to narrow down your choices.

Please don’t forget to make a comment for the author once you read a story.  Authors love to hear from their readers.  You can be brief and at least let them know that you enjoyed their story or thank them for contributing to this free spanking story site.

Using the Members option, you can see a full listing of members by their user name.  You can find out their gender, country, when they registered, the number of days since they were last on the site, number of stories they have viewed, number of comments they’ve made and more.

The Activity feature feels a bit like spying on your fellow spankos to me.  Want to know what other members are reading?  This link will tell you who is currently logged on and what they are doing on the site.  You can also send them a message.  Just click the envelope icon next to their name.

The Library of Spanking Fiction has a member forum.  You can access it using the Forum button on the Main Menu. The Forum has 3 sections.

Noticeboard- Check this out for site news and announcements.

Storyboard- This isn’t the actual stories.  It’s a place to discuss stories in the library with other members or just discuss anything related to spanking stories.

Help Desk- This is where you ask for help with the site.

The Select Author Drop Down box on the Main Menu lets you scroll through all the authors who have contributed to the site.  The number in brackets indicates their total number of items on the site.  Select an author’s name and you’ll be taken to their author’s page.  I use this function a lot.  Once I find an author I like, I want to read all her stories.

The Logout feature is pretty self explanatory .  Be sure to always use this if you don’t want another user on your computer to open this site and see where you’ve been.

Looking for the most recent fiction in the Library of Spanking Fiction.  I know you’ve been waiting patiently for me to get to the “Latest” button on the Main Menu.  OK, maybe only a couple of you have.

The Latest feature gives you four options for story listings.  Once you click on the button, you have your choice of Lucky Dip, Loaded, Read and Commented.

Lucky Dip gives you a random selection of 20 titles to choose from.  This is for those of you who want your spanking stories any way you can get them.  You aren’t picky.  Just get down to reading.

Loaded will give you a 20-page listing of the newest additions to the Spanking Library.  You can click on the title to be taken to the story, or the author’s name to go to the author’s page.

The Read option will let you see what others have been reading.  It will give you a 20-page list of the stories most recently read by members.

Choosing the Commented option under Latest lists 20 pages of the stories with the most recent comments. Authors love feedback! Always be sure to leave feedback and comment on a story after you’d read it.

On the Main Menu, the Favs link lists all your favorite fiction items.  How do you mark a story as a favorite?  Just click the heart-shaped symbol when you read a story.  To remove a favorite, just click the heart icon again.

Stats on the Main Menu keeps track of the site’s statistics.  So all you number-loving folks can check this out.  Want to know who’s made the most comments?  How about where the site members are?  The stats link will tell you that and more.

You can find the Search feature by clicking the Search button on the Main Menu.  I know, it seems obvious.  It’s the brat in me that’s got to say it though.

You can search by title, author, orientation, synopsis, type, number of words and whether or not the story has been validated or not.

The search by title, author or synopsis can be done by using whole or partial words.  So if I search for Ben (like in the Ben and Lindsey spanking stories), the partial search returns Ben and Lindsey stories as well as stories including the words bend, beneath, Bengali, Benson and benefits.  You can also click the keyword option to help with your search.

You can search by implements used in the story as well. We are all about the implements, you know.  All your favorites are there, hand, paddle, ruler, spoon, belt, cane, hairbrush, crop, gym shoe.  What? Gym shoe?  Yes, you can search for a spanked by gym shoe story.  All I can picture now is a gym shoe imprint on a very sorry backside.

Okay, back to searching. Searching by type with the drop down menu allows you to find the type of fiction you want.  You can search for serials, stories, poems, as well as other options.

Use the tick boxes to choose the level of sexual content you prefer, the ages, and the gender of the spanker and spankee.

Once you click search, you’ll see a list of stories with your selected criteria.  Now you can start reading!  Don’t forget to come back here tomorrow for more Library of Spanking Fiction tips or you can subscribe to Spanking Storybook via email or RSS reader.  Use the options on the sidebar to subscribe.  Then you’ll be sure not to miss tomorrow’s tips.
